The very first crime perpetrated by Satan was a kidnapping. Satan accomplished this crime by lying to our first parents by claiming that the restrictions Yahweh placed on them was intended to prevent them from becoming great like the gods, and that it would not lead to them dying as Yahweh said they would. When our first parents listened and obeyed the voice of Satan they were kidnapped and Satan became their father. Satan went on to deceive mankind that Yahweh's name should not be spoken, and they were to use the names of heathen deities such as Elohim, Adonai, El, Allah, or simply God. It really did not matter to Satan what they called their god once it was not Yahweh, the kidnapping would continue. Our kidnapper does not want us to know our Father's Name and our true identity. This was the greatest identity theft ever to take place. Now the whole world believes that it was not Yahweh who created heaven and earth, but it was a being called God or Lord.
