Will Know Them
The following article
which appeared on Aljazeera America
website says it all. The article is
entitled
The Vatican still protects pedophile
priests dated February 11, 2014.
Just imagine this sick imagery: Priests
who should be protecting the children
are raping them, then being protected
instead of being prosecuted and this
continues decade after decade. If the
Catholic Church was a small group they
would have been burned up like the
Branch Davidians long time ago.
The first couple of
paragraphs of this article reads as
follows:
Urging a sprawling religious
institution to take immediate
remedial action to redress a scourge
of pervasive sexual abuse within its
ranks is unlikely to generate global
controversy. Unless that
organization is the Catholic Church
and the edict is issued by a secular
watchdog and muddied by the
Vatican’s unique status as a hybrid
sovereign state ruled by its own
religious laws and mores.
On Feb. 5, the United Nations
Committee on the Rights of the Child
issued a stern rebuke of the Holy
See for its failure to comply with
its international obligations under
the Convention on the Rights of the
Child. The panel’s observations in
its second periodic report on the
Vatican accused it of systematically
protecting pedophile priests and
showing greater concern for
preserving its own reputation and
protecting the perpetrators than for
upholding the best interests of the
children. It called on the church to
remove abusive clergy from official
duty, turn abusers and those who
shielded them over to state
authorities for prosecution and
release its voluminous archives of
sexual-abuse complaints.
The gravity of this
sin practiced by these priests was
summed up well by the following
paragraph:
The church has also been censured
for its utter failure to acknowledge
the incalculable toll of these
crimes, including the
staggering number of victims,
the global reach and the lasting and
profound nature of the harm
inflicted on victims.
There actions further
Satan's objective of creating more and
more homosexuals and pedophiles.
Sometimes you wonder where are the
parents. Parents your children should
never be out of your site especially
when a Catholic priest is in the room.
If fact the Pope should declare parents
to be negligent who leave their children
alone in the presence of a priest.
In another article titled:
Bishop conceals names of pedophile
priests despite pleas of concerned
parents, highlights the frustration
parents are having within the Catholic
Church of simply getting the names of
priests who have been identified by
church leadership as child molesters and
rapists. Why be apart of such an
organization that doesn't even profess
to live by the bible. I can bet that
these parents never heard a priest open
the bible and read from it in most or
all the time they have been going to
church. In this article it states:
Louisiana Bishop
protects pedophile priests: This
week Bishop Michael Jarrell refused
to release the names of known
pedophile priests despite the pleas
of local parents and media.
Why is the Diocese
of Lafayette refusing to release the
names of known pedophile priests
despite the calls for transparency
from the media and victims’ rights
advocates?
Monsignor Richard
Greene, media liaison for the
Diocese, wrote the following in
response to The Daily Advertiser’s
request for the priests’ names:
“Bishop Jarrell
sees no purpose in such action.”
No purpose? How
about protecting children? How about
peace of mind for parents and the
public?
The article went on to
show that just in this region alone as
much as $26 million dollars have already
been paid to victims of pedophile
priests, notice
In 2004, the Roman
Catholic Diocese of Lafayette and
its insurers paid about $26 million
to 123 victims of priests who served
in the diocese between 1950 and
2002. However the names of the
pedophile priests have not been
released, and it is uncertain as to
how many are currently serving, and
where they may be serving at.
The names of those
priests were never made public
despite policies by the Catholic
Church to be transparent about child
sexual abuse issues.
Why continue to
support such an evil organization. Are
