Two Witnesses Lesson #7 Did
you know that the
names of the Two Witnesses were prophesied
in the Book of Isaiah (Isayah)? Friends
we don't need to guess who they are because
many details are given to us thousands of
years ago.

We are continuing on our lessons about the Two Witnesses, and
if you have been watching we are using Revelation 11 as our focal point. So far
we have covered verses 1 , 2 and the first part of verse 3 of which we are still
covering. Let’s do a quick review then continue. Let’s read again from
Revelation 11 starting in verse 1
Revelation 11:1 1 And there was given to me a reed like a measuring rod. And the malak
stood, saying: Rise, and measure the temple of Yahweh, and the altar, and its
confines.
2 But the court which is outside the temple leave out, and measure it not; for
it is given to the Gentiles.
So far we saw where the Witness Yisrayl Hawkins fulfilled this prophecy in the
early 1980s by commissioning the work of drawing the blue prints of this temple
in accordance with the measurements found in Ezekiel chapters 40 through 44 and
he registered these drawings with the patent office in both the USA and in
Israel. The measurements of the temple given in Ezekiel 40 showed that there was
a city building on the temple mount which was never there at anytime that the
temple was ever built. This building is the Dome of the Rock building that now
sits on the temple mount that Revelation 11:1-2 is telling us have been given to
the nations.
Moreover Ezekiel 40:4 instructs the person who would draw up this blue print of
the temple to:
Ezekiel 40:4 … Declare all that you see to the house of Israyl.
Yisrayl Hawkins is doing that 24/7 via satellite through two satellites which
covers almost every country on the face of the planet including Europe, America,
and the entire Middle East area which includes Israel 24/7. We also saw why it
was so important that this understanding is declared to the House of Israyl.
Because there are various movements presently bent on demolishing the Dom of the
Rock Muslim Mosch because they feel that the mosch is built directly on top of
the previous temples. My friends when this temple is rebuilt you will see that
it will be just as Yahweh had declared several thousand years ago with the Dom
of the Rock to the south.
We did not finish the first part of Revelation 11 verse 3. Let’s review that and
move on. The first part of
Revelation 11:3 correctly reads
3 And I will give to My Two Witnesses to perform their prophetic offices,
We started covering the details of their prophetic offices from scripture found
in the book of Isaiah (Isayah) chapter 44, but many details are also written in other

Let’s quickly review the verses of Isaiah (Isayah) 44 we covered in or last lesson and
continue from where we left off
Isaiah (Isayah) 44:1-8 1 Yet now hear, O Yaaqob My servant, and Yisrayl whom I have chosen,
Now if you drop down to verse 8 we will see exactly who these two people Yaaqob
or Jacob and Yisrayl are
8 Do not fear, nor be afraid. Have I not told you from that time, and have
declared: You are My witnesses!
These are the same Two Witnesses that Revelation 11 is talking about.
Now let’s go back to verse 2 of Isaiah (Isayah) 44 and we see that they are brothers
because they came from the same womb. Notice
2 This is what Yahweh says, Who made you and formed you from the womb, Who will
help you: Do not be afraid, Yaaqob My servant and Yeshurun; Beloved Yisrayl,
whom I have appointed.
Verse 3 & 4 talked about the seed and offspring of the Two Witnesses so we went
to verse 5 where we will learn how the witnesses will obtain their names. Notice
5 One will say: I belong to Yahweh, and the same will call himself with the name
Yaaqob. The other will subscribe with his hand, and write I belong to Yahweh,
and surname himself with the name Yisrayl.
Now as we mentioned last week the witness Jacob did not legally change his name,
he just called himself Jacob, but there is more to it than that. The word call
in verse 5 where it says will call himself with the name Yaaqob; that word call
was translated from the Hebrew word qara and is word # 7121 in the Strong’s
Hebrew Dictionary and it means:
Pronounce, to encounter, in a hostile manner (remember this definition), through
the idea of accosting a person.
And this is exactly how the witness Jacob got his name. Jacob was not his legal
birth name. His legal birth name was J.G. Hawkins. He never legally changed his
name. He was always called J.G. like many southern names with only initials. So
he was referred as J.G by everyone who knew him until he was actually forced
during a hostile encounter with a train conductor, to call himself with the name
Jacob. This occurred when he went to Israyl, he and his wife decided to take the
scenic route, so they went by train from Europe. Before the train entered Israyl
the conductor asked him for a name because they did not accept initials for
names, but he insisted that J.G. is his name, it’s on his passport and driver’s
license and everything. The conductor would not accept it and threatened to
throw him off the train at the next stop, then he said call me Jacob. That’s how
the witness got the name Jacob under a hostile encounter with the train
conductor.
Today we will only have time to cover the naming of the witness Yisrayl, which
was just as dramatic and miraculous. Unlike Jacob, Yisrayl did legally change
his name to Yisrayl just as Isaiah (Isayah) 44 verse 5 said. Let’s read it again
5 One will say: I belong to Yahweh, and the same will call himself with the name
Yaaqob. The other will subscribe with his hand, and write I belong to Yahweh,
and surname himself with the name Yisrayl.
Now Yisrayl Hawkins did surname himself, meaning he legally changed his name to
Yisrayl, but that was before he knew of this scripture. Now you might not
believe that and I certainly can sympathize with you the same way I sympathize
with the people who died because they did not believe Noah. This is why I want
to caution you against this attitude of unbelief. Yahweh commands us to believe,
but believe what? That Mother Mary is in the clouds, or that her reflection
appeared in glass on the side of some building in Florida? No. We are commanded
to believe all that the prophets have spoken. The Savior had to remind His
disciples of this in Luke 24:25 Then He said to them: O fools, and slow of heart to BELIEVE ALL THAT THE
PROPHETS HAVE SPOKEN!
We cannot ignore or choose not to believe what Isaiah (Isayah) and the other prophets say
about the Two Witnesses and still claim to believe all that the prophets have
spoken. If we don’t believe what the prophets say, well Yahshua our Savior says
we are fools. Notice what Yahshua did in. Luke 24:27 And beginning at Mosheh; the law, and all the Prophets, He expounded to them
in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself
This is exactly what we are doing today; pointing out all that the prophets have
spoken about the Two Witnesses which the Savior Himself told us about in
Revelation 11
All I can do is to tell you what I am telling you. I cannot make you believe;
that is for you to do. But if you don’t believe what we are saying about the Two
Witnesses then you need to find yourself Two Witnesses who have fulfilled all
these prophecies in Revelation and Isaiah (Isayah) and believe in them because the Savior
who the Christian world claims to believe in, told us in Revelation 11 that it
will be the Two Witnesses that would speak on Yahweh’s behalf in the Last Days;
No one else. You cannot believe in Yahweh unless you believe in the Savior, and
you cannot believe in the Savior unless you believe in the Two Witnesses that He
the Savior spoke about.
Now let’s get back to the naming of the Witness Yisrayl. Naturally you might
think that it was real easy for anybody just to read these scriptures in
Isaiah (Isayah) 44:5 where it says:
5 …... The other will subscribe with his hand, and write I belong to Yahweh, and
surname himself with the name Yisrayl. then change their name to Yisrayl, but
knowing about this before and then changing your name would not fulfill this
prophecy and I will show you why in a moment, but allow me to first relate the
full story surrounding Yisrayl’s name change.
What you and others might not know is why the witness Yisrayl was moved to
change his name. It was not because he knew of this scripture. It was because of
what took place shortly days after he was born. Turn to Isaiah (Isayah) 49:1 Isaiah (Isayah) 49:1 Listen, O isles; countries to me! Listen, you peoples, from afar! Yahweh has
called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother (meaning by someone who
came from his mother’s womb) He has made mention of my name.
This prophecy was fulfilled one evening while the family was gathered after the
evening meal. Yisrayl’s father was going around the room asking what should be
the name of the newly born child. As each family member gave there response,
Yisrayl’s father came to the youngest family member his one year old son who
could not speak, so he asked him in guest, jokingly what should be the name. No
body expected an answer but the family was shocked when they heard with
incredible clarity the words Buffalo Bill Hawkins come from the mouth of the one
year old child. This fulfilled the scripture we just read in Isaiah (Isayah) 49:1 which
said “from the bowels of my mother He has made mention of my name.” Everyone
present heard it clearly Buffalo Bill.
It was obviously a weird name. Can you imagine if you had to go to high school
today with a name like that? But his father felt that it was a sign of some sort
so they named him Buffalo Bill Hawkins at birth.
Now he grew up like a hill billy cowboy, but off all his brothers and sisters
only he and Jacob his brother was drawn to the study of the scriptures, so he
felt that his calling was in the ministry, and he felt that his name Buffalo
would be a hindrance and that it had to be changed, in spite of the amazing
manor in which he had obtained that name Buffalo. This is what motivated him to
change his name, not that he knew of the scripture in Isaiah (Isayah) 44:5 that said he
would surname himself with the name of Yisrayl. It was because Yahweh gave him a
weird and unusual name at birth. So he studied out the meaning of some biblical
names. In fact if you have a Book of Yahweh you can see the result of some of
that study that Yisrayl Hawkins did on the meaning of biblical names.
He settled on the name Yisrayl because it means “He who rules as Yahweh”. He was
not aware of these scriptures in Isaiah (Isayah) 44 just as many people are not aware
that the two witnesses were actually named in this verse. I wasn’t aware of
these scriptures until I heard it from The House of Yahweh. Were you aware that
the Two Witnesses were named in Isaiah (Isayah) 44:1? Be honest, were you aware of this
before the House of Yahweh pointed it out to you?
Well there was a time when the witnesses were not aware of this scripture either
and this is exactly what Yahweh said would occur. Yahweh did not reveal this to
them until after these events took place. I want you to notice this: Let’s first
read from Isaiah (Isayah) 44:5 then we will read from Isaiah (Isayah) 45:4 where this same
prophecy was repeated.
Isaiah (Isayah) 44:5 One will say: I belong to Yahweh, and the same will call himself with the
name Yaaqob (under duress remember). The other will subscribe with his hand, and
write I belong to Yahweh, and surname himself with the name Yisrayl.
Now turn to Isaiah (Isayah) 45:4 where this same prophecy in Isaiah (Isayah) 44:5 was repeated
almost verbatim, but we will see here that it was Yahweh all along who named
them both
Isaiah (Isayah) 45:4 4 For Yaaqob My servant’s sake, and Yisrayl My chosen; and I CALL YOU BY
YOUR NAME (Yaaqob); and I SURNAME YOU (Yisrayl), though you did not recognize
that it was Me. Who was doing it? It was Yahweh who named them even though they
did not realize that it was Yahweh.
This prophecy was fulfilled. Yahweh created the situation that lead J.G to call
himself Jacob, and lead Buffalo Bill to surname himself or legally change his
name to Yisrayl. This is so amazing. The word surname has a very interesting
meaning. Reading from Funk & Wagnalls New Standard Bible Dictionary, page 604,
it says this about the word surname:
In later life it was also possible for a person to receive a name, sometimes
called his surname, which was used alongside of, or supplanted, his original
name. In all, or nearly all such cases the new name was imposed by a superior
(in this case a judge), or due to a change of status which seemed to demand a
new name.
This is exactly what took place why the witness changed his name from Buffalo to
Yisrayl. He thought people would make fun of his name Buffalo and that it would
not glorify Yahweh, but all along it was Yahweh who created the situation that
lead him to legally change his name.
Isn’t Yahweh incredible? My friends, please don’t forget this because we won’t
have time to go over this again.

witness provides truthful evidence of law breaking, and in this case the
breaking of Yahweh’s Laws and this is exactly what the witness Yisrayl has been
doing.
